Adjusting status to a Permanent Resident?
Im a Canadian citizen and my husband just became a Citizen of the U.S.We have a toddler on the way and I already live here in the U.S on a Student Visa?How long will it take for me to take a social Security #,working permit,etc?It's not easy for me to find off campus job on a student Visa and I want to have more priviledges.Eventually,I will most definately want to become a U.S citizen.

It will take 90 days, or less, from the time you folder to get the working permit and Social Security card. The total cost to file is going to be $1,365.
Your husband files: I-130, I-864 and G-325A.
You folder I-485, I-131, I-765 and G-325A.
File them all at the same time, in impossible to tell apart envelope. You can find the forms here.....
