Land mines at Mexico / America border?
Is there any reason that the US doesn't utilize land mines or perchance something like bouncing Betty's at the border to control illegal immigration? I mean, it seem like it would work if you posted several signs to relieve liability and enter at your own risk areas. It's a simple fix to a greater problem of population control and crime rates. What do you think?

But as a finishing ditch effort.. I think two 30 foot fences spaced 600 patio apart is a great start. From there you could fill the space with lions and tiger and undergo habitats.. Thats a win win for man and animals.=}
The problem is they are probably illiterate even in their own language and would not figure out any sign.
Besides, the Main Stream Media would love nothing better than to mock apologize for images you are about to see and consequently broadcast pictures of mutilated and decapitated dead children that the Coyotes kidnapped and forced to go thorough the minefields.

If you want to fix the population and crime problem,
you should better fix the U.S. economy and the Latin American economy policies, especially within the realms of agriculture.
To tackle crime, the U.S. should ,instead of just putting contained by prisons,sending weaponry and making war on crime, better look for the root causes...e.g. for the drug problem they should make conform soft drugs to cut off an important market for organized crime.
