What are the moral and bleak of moving to france from uk to be self employed.?
looking for a better quality of life and safe environment for us and our young at heart kids. As a british Asian family with no knowledge of french, FRANCE .. is it the right choice? (prefer to live surrounded by outskirts of paris).

Do not expect EVERYONE in France to speak English. There are some parts of France (Normandy, Dordogne, Cote d'Azur) where many English-speaking citizens have bought homes. They seem to appreciate the quality of enthusiasm.
But if you want to find employment, you must speak French fluently.
Why not find a crash course in French, somewhere in France, where you can take a taste of living there.

I am hoping after i have passed my degree to get a visa and move out to America for 6 months beside two mates of mine. Would we be able to get job out there to earn extra money? I heard you had to enjoy a green card or something... I don't finish my degree for 3 years....
