Your age, simply. You're nearing retirement age and therefore are not a good long-term candidate for immigrating.

There are lots of factors involved when you apply for a job. You might even be seen as a threat or too clever. There again I am sure you are a great creature but you might not be, you might give off bad vibes or something. The age might not comfort. Also, have you by any chance been out of work for a long time? That's a put rotten.
