Can you check out of the USA for break even if you haven't met 2 year requirement after adoption process?
I have been adopted by my sibling but I would approaching to leave the country for vacation in December but Immigration denied our adoption petition because we did not get together the 2 year legal custody requirement. We will have to re-file for a green card next year when we hold met the requirement. However, I would like to leave the country for vacation. Is it undamaging to go and come back? I have travel documents, but will they consent to me back in the U.S? I would like to know how to come back with no questions asked.
