I received my Notice of Action.. immediately what?
I submitted my I-130, I-485, I-864, I-765 & I-131 concurrently March 6, 2008. They received it on the 12th. I had my biometrics appointment April 2nd, 2008 & I received a request for applicant to appear for initial interview yesterday & it's dated June 4, 2008. It says initial and not final. Is that going to be my only interview for irreparable residency? The Notice of Action is for form I-485. Thanks.

You prepare for the interview. You need to bring all original documents and copies of adjectives original documents and other required evidence.
The reason the USCIS add "initial" for the interview is that some times they do require further interview if not everything is in order.
If everything is contained by order, they will approve your green card at the end of the interview and you will get your green card contained by mail.

Im trying to get my Indian Visa and it takes 8 days to process, and my Japanese temp (3 month) Visa runs up in 4 days. So I want to get my Japanese visa extended by about a week. Do temp visa extensions cost any money? wrong blog
