Where would be a great country to immigrate to from the UK?

the world is a big places and there has to be some where out in that that's better than here ?? USA. That's what I might plan to do. I'm soooooo tired of the UK.

australia and new zealand have a great lifestyle and quality of time, plus good weather and they speak the same language, and the race are far nicer than your average londoner.
america is getting more and mroe expensive, as is much of europe, so they're not really the bargins they once were, though it is relatively easy to emmigrate to somewhere in the EU, prominently.
Personally, i think canada is a lot nicer than america, and a lot smaller number commercial and touristy too. the weather can be a bit hairy, especially in winter, but it's a lovely country, and the people are great.
But if you want culture and worthy food, somewhere like Italy, or even somewhere perhaps unusual like Japan (i lived in attendance for a year, and loved it: the language is quite easy to pick up too, when you're surrounded by it adjectives the time, and the people are really friendly, quality of life is great, but when you see how loyal and hardworking they all are, my it's a difference from over here). It's a beautiful country, with a similar climate to here, and the history and culture is amazing. it's not full of Brits, resembling australia and spain, and apart from the off tsunami/earthquake, it's great. and the trains are NEVER late...

The Brits I know who are emigrating are going to New Zealand. There are ton of Brits in Canada and I lead many British accents in Vancouver, BC and Victoria BC.
All the Brits I know in the States loved it there. Americans have no perception about the class system so they don't care if you're from Luton or the Chelsea neighbourhood of London. You're British and enjoy a cool accent and they loooove to hear you speak. They also fall over themselves to help you. I've see that over and over again when I've gone home with my British husband.

What you really need to ask yourself is why you want to leave your home country. Because in truth, No place is truly better than any other. There will still be crime, and ferocity anywhere you go. Nowhere, because Britain is the only country that is great hence 'Great Britain'! If you live on the mainland try Jersey! You wont enjoy to learn another language!
If it were me i`d go to Australia or New Zealand....... USA is the next best entity i suppose

Canada and Australia because they speak the same jargon; but Italy for the food and culture. Spain, France, Italy, Australia or New Zealand.
Who knows?? Somewhere beside a beach, plenty of sunshine and minimum responsibility - heaven (sigh) - if only. Having lived surrounded by Australia, I would definately say Canada( the people are alot nicer or the Canaries for the climate.

you are free to go anywhere surrounded by european union. but for around the world it can be difficult. for usa its almost impossible. for australia and canada you need to be a skilled worker, you get a trial to pass and if you have enough points, consequently you can move. think about communication first. if you can only speak english, after english speaking countries only. they speak english good in hong kong, philippines, south africa, and nearby are many smaller islands in pacific ocean beside english language.
its a really hard decision to move somewhere. crime is also a problem. here are still pirates stealing ships, so me as a sailor it would be very risky in asia.
or try russia, their population is decreasing. usually countries with a population crisis will adopt more immigrants and its more easly to move too.
