Do you have an idea that it's a desperate time to immigrate?

I'm 23 male and wanting to immigrate to Canada.
However more I do search on the internet, more I find negative word about economy throughout the world.
And bad reduction will only have negative impact on immigrants right?
Because government want to protect their citizens to keep their job.

I found out I can get 2 year open work permit within England and 12~18months in Australia.
I just thought why should I not take this down turn as opportunity to see the world. And go to Canada in 2010~2011.
While there might be opportunity around Vancouver for 2010 winter Olympics, it should only be short time deals for workers and I need long possession sponsorship. And other fastest growing cities in Canada are expecting 25~30% fall for new homes construction.

Because once I'm committed to the immigration process, I won't know how to travel as the process(I want to get Canadian citizenship) would take 6~7 years and I'd be over 30 by the time,I won't be able to verbs myself out of the rat race as an immigrant and worker.

Does it sound like an impression? Or do you think I'm escaping from the harsh realities? And should in recent times commit to get Canadian citizenship?

I haven't seen around the world, so it'd be nice to go to England within order to travel around Europe.

Of course immigrating to Canada is my 1st option but the immigration rules shouldn’t change dramatically surrounded by 2~3 years I'd guess and as far as I’m concern it'd be turn positive in 2~3 years as the economy should turn around for better right?

You seem to enjoy a very good grasp of things here. You're right in that the cutback here is very bad and getting worse. Companies here will not hire foreigners to do jobs that qualified Canadians can do. I am hearten to see that you have not only a good perspective on the thing but have found a way to take righteous advantage of things.
By all means, travel around the world. Learn going on for other places, other people and other cultures.

Attempting to immigrate now is a bad belief. We already have close to a million other applicants who also want Canadian citizenship and quite a number of them don't appear to understand that it takes a very long time to progress through the process.

You wrote, "Or do you think I'm escaping from the harsh realities?" I would voice absolutely not. I don't think you're doing anything unrealistic at all. You come across to have a plan that is well thought out. Go and travel. See the world.

Bon voyage!
Not at adjectives, i think immigration is a great thing and a lot more of it so walk on, so long as the negative effects can be dealt with appropriately.
