Regarding SIR 475 Provisional Visa to South Australia. Please help out!?

Does anyone know if Master of Science in Biotechnology with a Plant Biotechnology Theory Component and Plant Biotechnology Laboratory Component will be assessed as a "Botanist" ASCO Code 2113-13 under SOL? This is because my other option of "Life Scientist NEC" and "Biochemist" were just removed from the Provisional Sponsorship List for South Australia.
Answers:
I don't know for sure, but doubt that SA would accept you as a Botanist - it's not really like peas in a pod thing and they will be looking for people trying to squeeze in lower than inappropriate classifications now that the list have been amended.

Victora is still offering permanent visa sponsorship to Life Scientists NEC 2113-79 with experience within Bioinformatics and SIR sponsorship to the classification with no specific requirements. That may be your best bet and it's a better place to live than SA too

The ACT is offering sponsorship to Biochemists who have an ACT job tender and Life Scientists who have academic or research job offer.
