Do immoral immigrant steal identity to gain work contained by the U.S., consequently directory a tariff return underneath that SS#?
Answers:
I would't be suprised
"On October 7, 2008, as reported by the New York Times, “the Weld County, CO, Sheriff’s Office, armed with a search warrant, seized thousands of confidential tax returns from Ms. Cerrillo’s business. They told her they be looking for people with fraudulent Social Security numbers, commonly used by illegal immigrant to get work.”
This raid set off a endorsed fight over creative enforcement of immigration laws by state and local police. Under the so-called 287G program, the Department of Homeland Security contracts with non-federal agencies to enforce immigration law. Janet Napolitano, Obama’s head of DHS, has launched a review of the program.
Below is a March 11 article by the Times on an ACLU suit within a state court to prevent the tax returns from being used by law enforcement. Following specifically the original Times article from February 9.

After all, here are the problems with trying to use an ITIN for work, and tax purposes.
Using ITIN's to work.
One of our Tax Pros responded:
"Not going to come up!
Using an ITIN on a W-2 form just results in a notice from Social Security to both employer and hand of an incorrect SSN.
ITIN's are not recognized by Social Security."
"Here's what IRS has to say around ITINs.
"Are ITINs valid for work purposes?"
"No. ITINS are for federal income tax purposes ONLY. Alien individuals who are legally admitted to the U.S. for lifelong residence or other categories which authorize U.S. employment are eligible for SSNs. Individuals who are eligible for SSNs do not qualify for ITINS."
Says it all doesn't it?
I'd say your article is the proof that they do.
They also use their own child's number, a niece or nephews number or even borrow one from someone they know.
After all if the child is named for the parent it's a game on name/number. Or they just use the name that is on the social indemnity card.
No they do not. They have an ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number) that the IRS issues to illegal immigrant so that they can file their taxes properly.

This is probably not done on purpose, it does them no good to do this. Why? because IRS will se a duplicate entry with equal SSN and they will be caught and deported. They can always request a number from the IRS to file taxes. And furthermore they do not qualify for many of the duty breaks (child tax credit) or the stimulus that LPR's and USC's get. So they are paying in more than what they are getting support.
Ho boy YES>
Years ago, the Federal Government did not want to show favorites to the Computer Companies, and they bought Burroughs, Control Data Corp, IBM, other main frames that were restricted as all get out, Honeywell, and a few others I don't remember. Nice.. computers for everyone.
Those computers could not talk to respectively other. They could print stuff out.. they could not directly communicate.
Some of those computers STILL cannot talk to one another. The left appendage does not know what the right hand is doing.
The illegal aliens are having kids. They without delay get a social for the kid, and he is immediately eligible for welfare benefits. But then the father uses that Social Security Number to budge get a job. Three more kids later.. he can put up for sale those cards to be used for a lot of money, and some times does.
Dead people come out of their graves. You catch that number in recent times after some one passes over, and you have a SS that will go a long, long time. Pay the female in the Hospital a baggie of Coke and go do the dance surrounded by the local cantina, and pick up a few thousand.
Oh yes.. they can and do.
they do not steal identity but they use a made up ssn and do not usually get a tax return
why do you think this country does not win firm with illegals
No,they don't file. They just let the citizen who's number they stole buy and sell with the IRS when extra income is reported that the person who legally holds the number doesn't report.
Yes, they steal a SS# and give it to employer. Those employers that don't check with E-Verify will still get a make out in the mail from SS saying the baptize and number don't match. This is as far as it goes in most companies, as they never check further. The employer take SS taxes out of the illegal employers pay, which the private will never be able to collect when they retire. I don't think they file import tax returns. Maybe if you ask this question in Spanish we can find out.
This is why the Federal Gov. has not done anything nearly illegals. They are collecting $ towards SS that they will never have to pay. Meanwhile the states and local gov. is stuck with the bills for educating illegals, providing medical thought. One of the California Senators (Boxer?) tried to pass a bill that would enable illegals to collect SS they paid contained by. I don't think this passed.
No. The IRS would notice a dual SSN on tax filings. They can't report tax returns.
i live in ca and someone in colorado have been using my husband's ss# for the last 13 years. as far as i know, he has not tried to directory a tax return but that doesn't mean that this "underreported income" does not create a total nightmare for us at tax time. our return is other delayed by months. the worst part is that if this person does ever decide to gain his own ss#, he can simply tell the government about adjectives the fake #'s he's used and he'll get all that credited to his ss statement. pretty shitty considering that identity theft is a felony.
