How long does a K1 Fiance Visa hold to approve?
It feels like forever, it's been almost 8 1/2 months! What is the average? I live within California, does each state differ?

Yes, from my experience immigration process vary from center to center that is processing your application and how long it takes the embassy in the country where on earth you fiance is from. For my brother-in-law and his fiance it was 8 or 9 months. Go to www.uscis.gov and check your status and processing times at your center. Source(s): www.uscis.gov
It took 7 months for me and my papers was processed in California.It take longer if the Service Center is a busy one like CSC.It takes 6 - 12 months to get an approval.

Im not sure if my parents filed the children born abroad at the US embassy in Canada. Is in attendance any way I can file myself? Im 21 and I need to catch this ball rolling.
