"we could never afford to ship 10-20 million illegals out of here" <what's wrong near my solution?
This just occurred to me. No idea if it's a appropriate idea or not, but I thought I'd test it out over here to find out.
Estimates say we own 10 to 20 million illegal immigrants in America. Most agree, we could never afford to ship them out. Common sense say make them pay for it, but common sense also say they're flat *** broke and they couldn't. So we'd put up the cash, they'd be expected to pay us back, and.....they never would so we'd foot the bill.
Or something close to that.
Here's my new idea:
Why not make them work bad the cash and then be deported? Make them pay for their own living expenses, if they're not homeless anyway, submit them NO benefits or entitlements, make them wear a tether, and make them get a errand where they keep little to none of the money, most likely surrounded by the manual labor sector.
Maybe they would make less than minimum wage, conceivably they'd make minimum wage, or maybe they would be free to those who agree to have them within exchange for a higher tax rate or simply more taxes overall due to increased production. <I haven't really thought that out yet. But surrounded by any case, the cash would be paid to the administration and would NOT go through the person unless the person get a stipend too.
This idea just occurred to me and I enjoy no idea if it's been discussed before. Is nearby any merit to it? And what are the problems that you see arising from it?

You don't have to ship anyone out of the States. You have wrong information on the subject of illegal immigration. It is not morally right to take away the hopes these people own built. Come on, Illegal Immigrants are doing the most they can with the few opportunities given to succeed. If you want then to wage how about legalizing a great number of them. The way immigration works is they would own to pay a penalty for entering the US illegally. Plus it will not be given to adjectives illegal. It will be given to those who show an x number of years, who have pay taxes and adjectives of the sort.
Estimates are that it would cost 50 billion a year for 10 years to deport all the illegal, immoral, criminal invaders contained by this country. It costs 383.3 billion a year to have them here. We can NOT afford to NOT deport these criminals. Plus we get rid of 87,500 child molesters, along with murderers, thieve, rapists, etc. Why are we spending money on these criminals?

I agree with Doom. Once they find out they can no longer find work, they will not come back. But that is a solution to prevent immigration, not to convey the already 30+ million illegals out.

How about creating unsanctioned immigrant work camps? They will leave in droves if we started that program.
