Both the UK and the USA are rich and developed, so it's not like the person would be escaping poverty.
But it could be for various reason. The person may have married an American girlfriend/boyfriend, they may be an educated and experienced worker, or the human being might want to study in the USA, they may have friends or family in that. or they may just simply want a change of scenery, weather, atmosphere and culture. Which the USA is a totally good provider for most immigrants, wherever they're from.
As for the reason they WANT to leave England, it could just be they find life more attractive within the U.S. and may JUST be the 'pull' reasons.
