What are well brought-up ways to immigrate to the U.S?

Hi

I'm a South African citizen(white) with a European background. I'm currently living in Australia, and will soon become a Citizen. I love Australia, but resembling the U.S more, and want to live there when I'm older(I'm currently 14), in NYC. What are good ways, reasonably, to immigrate to the U.S? Is there particular jobs that build it easier?

Just to clarify, I want to immigrate for good reasons! I want to live there for the rest of my existence, I LOVE the U.S, and I know theres an American dream waiting for me!!

Go to Mexico. It's easy as pie from there.
I wouldn't be so quick to say that you LOVE the US, as it sounds approaching you've never even been there. Reality hits harder than the dreams. Don't get me wrong, the US is a great place and NYC is indeed moderately exciting... however, you honestly have to live in a place for a while to get to know it, and to realize whether or not you love it plenty to stay there.

Finish high school, if you close to children come over as an au pair when you turn 18 - it will depend on your host family, but au pairs are generally given seriously of freedom and time to explore the country, go to school, meet family and have fun. It's a great experience. Source(s): Australian, lived in the Connecticut for 12 months as an au pair when I be 18/19, spent an additional 4 months holidaying in NYC, moving back near for good next year :)
I heard it is easy to get a birth ticket in Hawaii.
well to convey you the truth, this whole American dream BS that people are always discussion about, its crap. You don't really want to live here. try England or somewhere in Europe. We are so bad rotten here right now.. we are in a recession and everyone is out of work. there is no american dream for anyone right very soon. we are living the american nightmare at the moment. we have some monkey in the white house.. trust me, your good where on earth your at..
Come as a foreign student, you'll receive to know its life quicker by mingling with the schoolmates.
Legally. If not, don't come. 78% of U.S. levy paying citizens despise illegals, no matter where you originate.
My advice would be to bring a student visa and come here for college. Once you are done with school, you can work on getting your green card and eventually citizenship if that is what you want. This should formulate things much easier, since finding an employer to sponsor you should be simple using the contacts you make while in college.
get a tourist visa, marry an american, later tadaaa. haha
When you become an Aussie Citizen ..then the US E-3 becomes available for you to obtain ...
