Green card lottery USA /criminal journal?
I am French and applied for the Green Card Lottery.
My husband is British and has a criminal record ( about 20 years ago, someone attacked him, he hurt the guy, spent few months contained by jail)
If I win the lottery does that mean that our application will automatically be denied ?

a violent crime and a jail sentence are looked on pretty seriously by immagration authorites,
on the plus side in attendance has been a long time since the incident and (im asuming) your husband hasnt been within any trouble since then so i dont think you would be automatically rejected. get some professional proposal or go to the american embassy and ask them there.
