How exactly do I apply for a F-1 VISA?
Hello, I'm currently on a J-1 Work Experience program and want to possibly study here after I'm done working. Do I have to apply for a F-1 VISA outside the US or is it possible to do it here? Also I'm curious about how expensive it is, any ideas? What documents etc. do I obligation?

As long as you are legally in the USA on another visa, you can get an F-1 visa while contained by the US. You have to be accepted at a 4 year university or college first. The International Student Office at the school make the application for you. It cost about $200 when my daughter got one last year.
The conservatory will tell you what documents you need. And do note that school assume international students are from well to do families thus, little financial aid if any is offered.
