Stopping illegal immigration is pretty much impossible, but it can be curtailed by:
1. Major fines and jail time for anyone who hires illegals.
2. No benefits whatsoever for any illegal immigrant.
3. End the birthright. Make it so at least 1 parent must be a US citizen, or legal immigrant, for a child to gain citizenship at birth.
4. Make it so no one who have entered illegally, or overstayed a visa by 6 months or so, has any shot at ever becoming a citizen.
5. Put the military on the border.
6. Make English the executive language. No education, or government documents surrounded by other languages.
7. Deport any illegals that are found.
My Fellow Americas, hit the nail on the head. The USA lately has to enforce our current immigration laws, by going after companies that hire them, enforce border security, and verbs to arrest and deport illegals.
I don't understand why our officals are so afraid of enforcing the exisiting laws.

There has to be something you do to them to take home it intolerable to get caught. With nothing but deportation happening in that back in the US before the paperwork is file on there deportation.

Currently the Mexican Mafia make a better I.D. that the American Government. Sooo... you create an I.D. that cannot be copied and brought forward... such as the Real I.D. When that happens, and you have to have a certified Birth Certificate to find the drivers license, if you are not a citizen, you won't get a job here.
And yes... employers must check to see if the character is legal or not.
First, any illegal that is within our prison system should be deported immediately.
Then stop giving the illegals the benefits they receive from our tax money.
Bring the great men and women home from the war and after some break time put them on our borders and enforce the law.
Fine owners steeply when they hire illegals.
Any future arrest of an illegal should result within them being promptly "escorted" out of America.
I could go on and on but these will get it moving.
for everyone who is saying build the wall......either mode if they build the wall or not mexicans will still be able to get in to the US, i dont know why they are purely worried about the mexican border, why cant they build a wall around the canadian border, arent they considered immigrants too? It's amazing isn't it?They could do it in the thirties, forties, and fifties and sixties minus all the technology that we have today. But somehow they just cannot acquire a handle on it nowadays. You can't stop it--you can simply minimize it with more and more efficient border control and with better and more sophisticated detection devices....in that still will be some who can cross over.... stop hiring them to cut your yard and clean your house and undercutting Americans .

In reality, it will not stop, the government missed its destiny decades ago and big business likes the cheap labor that doesn't complain. But in a fantasy world, don't hire them for work. If they can't work, there's no basis to be here. you stop illegal immigration when it is easy enough to gain citizenship legitimately or make the standard of living good enough where on earth they are coming from so that it's not worth it for people to go to another country illegally.
