The Border Patrol provides border security which includes evaluating immigration. But regretfully their mission has changed from focusing on "Terrorist and Weapons of Mass Destruction", to focusing on people who just come here to work and live a better enthusiasm. We are more at risk of another attack on our soil if this isn't changed.

Border Patrol needs to focus on their mission
The chief patrol agent believes the Border Patrol's mission has changed.
"When you look at the series of events that have happen over the last five, six years... our mission changed," Manjarrez told AP. "Our primary mission changed from our traditional focus. Our primary mission now is terrorists and weapons of mass destruction. That is what we hold to be focused on."
But that can't happen when resources are being deployed primarily against illegal immigrant simply wanting jobs. "We can't focus on that (new mission) as much as we would like because of the other issues we have to settlement with," Manjarrez said.
If terrorists or weapons of mass destruction do make it across our border next to Mexico, the first finger of blame should be pointed at Congress which has chosen to pander rather than to provide realistic approaches to against the law immigration.
Border Security is our ability to controll who and what comes in and out of this country. Immigration happens everyday from countries who do not even share a border next to us. They are seperate things and only linked when said immigration is carried out illegally. 3000 current arizonans recieved citizenship the other day and Border Patrol doesn't care cause they go about it legally.
