I would longing they would go to your school and do their job, but Congress requirements to put money into pork projects that help them get elected. Not the projects that would protect the people.

The police have to have special training to work immigration cases.
They can phone up ICE, but it is a lot of trouble.
If the arrest an illegal they can notify ICE and hold the prisoner until they show up.
They are not going to come out to arrest suspected illegals, they don't have the time to work the cases.
Honestly if it is a large city or even a small one most police agencies don't have the dimensions or even the time. Plus the border is pretty much open to come across from Mexico so what would it matter. They would be back contained by 10 days max.
Because is agaist federal low, ICE are the individual ones, plus is a very critical issue that will probably will not be done with all the illigal immigrant that are here, for the convenience of the american economy and confort they will keep the system broken like this as long as they hold on to using the peaple, the American culture use to do it with slaves, but since there can not have them, next reemplace them for the easy way that is evolving surrounded by America cheap labor with no benefits wich only is in favor of the corporations an at the winding up to reduce the price on the products that Americans consum.
They have better things to do, like catching criminals
Illegals are not what they are supposed to persecute
Why don't you worry about school, and not the Mexicans that you assume are banned. You are seriously in need of some English courses.
What makes you suggest that they are illegally in the country? Did one of them say "Jello", instead of "Yellow"?.........LOL
The dem's contained by charge of govt programs won't let them.

I totally agree next to Tom.
My parents were illegals. I bet that, between you and me, I'd most likely pass a naturalization's question paper even though english wasn't my first and primary language spoken at home.
Even when they catch them in criminal acts they do zilch.
Because they're too busy trying to entrap criminals who are US citizens.
because police are not like u as racist , thats what they educate u at school?
Open borders. North American union. New world order. Wake up America !
the answer is SIMPLE if the police took the time to do the chore that the immigration department should be doing no other crimes would get solved on top of that there are so abundant loop holes immigrants would be back in the country
Unless your local police are trained in the federal 287g program, that are not qualified to arrest illegal aliens for immigration violation. You can call or email ICE to request action. It costs the US tens of billions of dollars every year to educate, provide strength care, and to feed illegal alien children.
New ICE ACCESS program highlights many law
enforcement partnerships. ICE and locals working together in
different ways, for maximum usefulness
August 21, 2007
WASHINGTON, DC - U.S. Immigration and Customs
Enforcement (ICE) today announces the new ICE ACCESS
(Agreements of Cooperation in Communities to Enhance
Safety and Security) program. ICE ACCESS will provide
local law enforcement agencies an opportunity to squad
with ICE to combat specific challenges in their
communities.
"Local canon enforcement agencies have shown tremendous
interest in working with ICE," said Department of
Homeland Security Assistant Secretary, Julie L. Myers,
who oversees ICE. "Combining federal, state and local
resources have proven successful in safeguarding the
public. Now, we want to build on that success by using
ICE's unique authorities to further aid communities
who want our assistance."
ICE developed the ACCESS program in response to the
widespread interest from local law enforcement
agencies that own requested ICE partnerships through
the 287(g) program, which cross-designates local
officers to enforce immigration law as authorized
through division 287(g) of the Immigration and
Nationality Act. In the past two years, the 287(g)
program has identified more than 22,000 illegal aliens
for possible deportation. More than 60 municipal,
county, and state agencies state have requested
287(g) MOAs with ICE and more than 400 local and state
officers enjoy been trained under the program.
The 287g program is only one component lower than the ICE
ACCESS umbrella of services and programs offered for
assistance to local law enforcement officers. Other
ICE ACCESS enforcement options include the creation of
local chore forces targeting specific challenges like
gang or document fraud, the presence of a Criminal
Alien Program (CAP) team in local detention facilities
to identify criminal aliens, or training to utilize
the ICE Law Enforcement Support Center (LESC) which
provides officer the ability to inquire about a
person's immigration and criminal history. One
especially successful joint initiative is Operation
Community Shield, a national program aimed at
dismantling unruly transnational gangs that threaten
the public.
"Operation Community Shield is an excellent example of
the outstanding relationship the Miami-Dade Police
Department has fostered with local, state and federal
regulation enforcement agencies," said Miami-Dade Police
Department Assistant Director James Loftus. "Law
enforcement working together with each other, as well
as beside the community, can and will continue to make a
difference."
ICE agents and officers will gather round with agencies
requesting ICE ACCESS assistance to assess local
needs. Based upon these assessments, ICE and local
agencies will determine which type of partnership is
most beneficial and sustainable before entering into
an executive agreement.
Law enforcement agencies interested in reviewing the
myriad of enforcement programs under the ICE ACCESS
program are encouraged to ring their local ICE office
or visit http://www.rime.gov for more information.
