Can you lose your American citizenship if you've be outside the U.S for too long?
Answers:
no. If you were born in the states later you will always be an american citizen. if you weren't born in the states then im not sure.
If you are a Naturalized Citizen you can lose your Citizenship
for being out of the US for more than 6 months...if you enjoy a Green Card...they will take it on the spot and send you back to the Country of Origin...
(Does not apply to US Service Personnel deployed..)
Rest assured that if you are a Born here Citizen and hold been out of the Country for over six months you will be
spending a long time explaining and proving where and what you were doing...(Home Land Security) Source(s): Retired Marine...

No.
i don't focus so you're still b concidered an american citizen unless u've been out of the country for breaking the law or something then they can steal your citizenship away and send you back to your country
no, you cannot lose your citizenship if you go live outside of the US,and no amount of time imposed by US
there is no difference with a citizen by birth or naturalize, neither will lose their citizenship,.(only difference? is that a naturalized citizen could never become the President of the US)
but? make sure you still file your rash taxes in the US.that is a most.
we dont know. YOU can ask the obama military camp. Obama is not even a us citizen and he ran for PRES> so today almost anything goes.
No. You can stay as long as you want to, as long as you file Tax.
