When does immigration come and call round a married couple?

immigration does not come to your house or any where Else even if you are illegal you will have to travel to them after you get married and you are fixing him some papers like me for example i got married to an unsanctioned immigrant and i am from the USA and now i am fixing his his papers and his appointment to go to Mexico to see immigration is coming and so one has to progress they don't come to you i have been with him for 5 years and his papers enjoy been going for 3 years.
I don't think they still do that, but then i could be wrong. They never come to my house, nore to that of my friend. We have both been in the U.S for 7 years.... they with the sole purpose call you in for an interview if they have grounds to beleive that the marriage is not genuine.
