Should immigrant who serve contained by the US military surrounded by Iraq or Afghanistan be allowed to become US citizens faster?
I have read newpaper articles about several who have served bravely. I reflect on they shoulbe allowed on a fast track to become citizens.
Answers:
I definately agree. They have served our country so they should rightfully be entitled to it. Of coarse they should! they fought for this country, so they deserve it! Letting them wait with the others or worst, denying them would discourage others from joining.
My dad is a vet and a permanent resident who just got wager on from his second tour of duty, and they do actually speed up the process if you've served in the military, there's a section for it on the forms. "Should immigrant who serve in the US military in Iraq or Afghanistan be allowed to become US citizens faster? " -- Legal Residents who serve in the armed forces are afforded a faster track to citizenship. It's already man done.
If this practice has been going on since (when ever), what is the outcome for the immigrant explicitly KIA?
Does his or her family receive any military benefits from the service member?
Do the rest of their family ( wife and children) step on the fast track or get citizenship still?
Is it more to bad so forlorn, the death means little since the service member did not fulfill an time enlistment responsibility?
My personal feelings on this are that regardless of who, what or where you came from the edict to defend the United States of America is an honor that one takes on by ones nature not by bargain or trading it to be.
Military have been doing just that for decades. The US Military is a fast track to US citizenship, and have been since WWII!
They already are put on a fast track 2 years vs 3-5. i think they should be legalized as soon asthey come subsidise. but many of them arent(coming back) ......sad
