Internal: The Great Migration was the movement of approximately seven million Black People out of the Southern United States to the North, Midwest and West from 1910 to 1970.
External: When 12 million+ dishonest, immoral criminals invaded the US and the a$$holes in Washington DC lavished them near gifts while they killed 10,000+ people in the US every year and doubled the crime rate! A time that will go down in history as the largest government get rid of out ever!
We really don't have much internal migration. There are a few blighted inner cities that loose some populations but those are relatively slight in the overall picture.
Almost all of the population shifts enjoy been upward from external immigration at the highest levels they own ever been in the history of this country. And some politicians want to increase it even higher! Rural, unfold wooded and previously areas thought to be too difficult to develop are being plowed under for housing tracts, strip malls and concrete.
I guess you could look at demographics of age, race, birthplace and find significant migration. Older and more affluent individuals are moving into the suburbs and areas with acreage. Younger people, minorities without a suitable education/or jobs and immigrants are moving into the vacated spots the others gone.
Pretty soon this country will be all paved over with little to no farmland, repose, or open areas. Our current trend has the census bureau estimating our population at over 600 million in about 60 years. If we grant illegals an amnesty we will be at 700+ million by that time. (12-20 million illegals + all of their family through our family reunification programs + they breed at a high rate + the fraud that will occur + they will afterwards pressure our weak politicians to likely allow yet more immigration) That doesn't bring into account the strong likelihood of another amnesty. Very sad for citizens with young children - those kids quality of time will certainly be far far lower then ours is.
Illegal aliens are fleeing areas where enforcement pains have increased.
