Denied Canadian visa?
I got denied last week for my tourist visa. How long should I wait past I apply for another one? Say, a skilled worker visa or others?
Please help.
Thanks

Skilled worker visa would be an immigrant visa. You can dance to the following official site of Immigration Canada.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/
most likely principle for being denied a visitor visa is because you cannot prove ties to your home country,.
you cannot prove that you WILL go home after your stop by.
you must have a home that you own or rent, a job and preferably family adjectives in the home country.
no house, no mortgage or lease agreement, no job and no family scheme you WILL be denied - every time.
if you do choose to apply for an immigrant visa, you need to have money and education and skills to qualify. If you dont hold these, then yes you will be denied approval to immigrate.
so then the next time you want a caller visa, you will be denied everytime because you already tried to immigrate and were denied which means you have already shown that you do not intend to LEAVE canada.
Do you know why you were denied the visa? It is usually due to an inability to demonstrate, as a tourist, that you were going to will Canada willfully. Fix that and apply right away again.
I do see a problem though. You were denied a tourist visa and now you are asking about an immigration visa. It may be that you have no intention on leaving with a tourist visa. You probably should have applied for an immigration visa to start out near.
Research the visa types and decide which one best applies to you, then apply.
