My brother hasn't received a form pay for even though he already dispatch an application for citizenship?
The application was sent on February 11, 2008. Both of my parents and my brother (19 years old) send application the same light of day. My parents already went for finger prints and they got letters stating the interview date. My brother didn't receive anything.
What do we do?
Who should we give the name? a number would be very helpful.
Why would letters come to my parents but not to my brother?
Other info:
We live surrounded by Chicago IL since April 2003.
Everything was already payed.
Any help would be appreciated.
Answers:
It is not uncommon for the processing center of USCIS to separate the packet filed by one family. It's possible that your brother's application was separated from your parents and/or sent to another Service Center for processing.
You stipulation to have a file number in directive to get through to a customer service agent with USCIS. How did your brother pay the Immigration fees? If they be paid by personal check, I would try to find the cancelled check to be sure it was processed by Immigration. Once you find the cancelled check, look on the back and it should hold some notation about your brother's file number.
Once you have the directory number, you can contact the 800 number for USCIS and let them know that you have not received any receipt for your brother's satchel and ask for a duplicate to be sent to you.
If you cannot find a file number for your brother, call the customer service line for USCIS and use one of your parents' acceptance numbers to get past the automated system to speak with customer service. Once you seize through, explain the situation and see if the agent can find any record of your brother's petition. Make sure your brother is with you when you call, otherwise the customer service agent may not afford you any information without permission from your brother first.
Good luck on this. My husband has be waiting forever, and no, there is no number to call. You can go onto uscis.gov and draw from info there. There is a 1-800 number but that is not to the main bureau, it's only to do an address change and other unimportant things. I longing you all the best on this. You could make an appointment through Info Pass
