What should the Dominican Republic do near the more than 1 million criminal Haitians?

Should they be given a chance to stay? They are hard-working people that do job most Dominicans don't want. They cut sugar cane in the hot sun all time long. Haiti is a failed state with a per capita income of less than $1,500 while the D.R. is a stable democracy next to excellent economic growth and a per capita income of more than $11,000.

They need to see them out.

Dominicans would definitely do those jobs, as they are also a very poor nation.

You are really overdoing it beside presenting Dominican as a great economy.

The Haitians need to get kicked out, simply like the Mexicans in the U.S.
If your gonna go the total "deport them" route, then why stop at deporting haitians? There are over 500,000 illegal Dominicans in the U.S., and over 300,000 surrounded by Puerto Rico. I say keep the ones that work hard, and throw out anyone that requirements to be a criminal. ALL of latin america has problems, haiti, dr, mexico it doesnt matter. instead of carrying on this petty infighting we should be helpin each other become more developed. god im glad someone asked this put somebody through the mill.

The problem is that if we kick them all out. The damn U.N and the french start complaining that we use them as our slaves. The bottom line some hatians are no fitting in the dominican republic. its a shame that I cant walk down some neigborhoods because its hatian populated. They are crazy the chased me with a machete. Throw most of the out. merely the legal ones should be able to stay
They need a lot of give a hand. The country is very poor and if they want to work fine. Besides, many people from the Dominican Republic try to migrate without permission to Puerto Rico, they work there and they send money to their families within the Dominican Republic, but Puertorricans don't complain like Americans do in the states.
They are right there anyway surrounded by Haiti. Most Dominicans are willing to work to make a living. That is up to the Dominican Republic to do what they want to do. We have our own problems here next to all the illegals. Most Americans want them to be deported. Keep them They should be able to drive the per capita income down to $7,500 if not smaller number.
Why the hell not...? Isn't that something we do with our neighboring Quesadillas?

If they get kicked out , guess where they will want to stir next ??
