How can I become a Pennsylvania resident?
I am currently a Maryland resident. I have actually lived in PA for a year in a minute, but I am finally going to sign up for residency. What is the website to apply for this?

Sign up for residency. Never heard of such a thing. You live there,that's more or less all there is to it. And I agree with the answer above me. I muse you become a resident of most states if you reside there for 30 days and more. You are also able to register in PA to vote in a minute as well.

I'm not sure why this question keeps coming up. I don't know where family get the notion they need to "sign up" for residency in another state. I moved from MD a short time ago over the border into PA 13 years ago. No signing, no fanfare, no ceremony, no checking out and dropping off your Maryland key on the way. You of late move and you're a resident. When you get your PA driver's license, you have official proof of residency, if that's what you're looking for.
Now-- at hand IS a catch. Not everyone knows that they need to start paying local income due when they move to PA from MD, and no one here bothers telling you. Get the forms yourself or one day you'll suddenly find you owe closely of money to your local borough or township.
You become a resident automatically when you move there. They may have guaranteed requirements for voting there. Call your local courthouse. Visit Pa's web site?
