He wishes to go back to his own country and then you can apply for him to come backbone legally, as he is illegally in this country presently. He cannot be made legal simply because you two married.

Tell him to ask his parents for the cash for this.
If he initially entered legally and doesn't have any removal instructions, it's an easy and straight forward process. If he entered without a visa, you will call for to file an I-601 wavier to prove hardship. Go to http://www.i2us.net for more information on those and a guide to the process. I recommend speaking to a legal representative but if for some reason he cannot adjust at all, there is also something call the DREAM Act, it hasn't passed yet but if it does then should be used a backup in armour he does not qualify for adjustment through either I-485 (in country) or the I-601 wavier (out of country).

Depends on what his status is. If he come legally, the process should be fairly simple. If he is here illegally,in attendance is no way to change his status while he is in the country even if you carry married.
Can't answer the question properly without knowing how how came here.
If he is illegal, he have to go to Mexico to complete his green card process at US Embassy after your I-130 Petition is approved. And that will be very long process.
well not sure if it works like peas in a pod, but im from the uk took a year to get through all the paperwork, 2thousand dollars, and im still waiting for my greencard and pemission to work. Using a K1 fiance visa
depends if he is here in US, and how he get here. if he crossed the boaders illegally he cant get any even if you get married. he would hold to leave the us and apply through the embassy. this could take up years. especially if he was surrounded by this country illegally and whether he has any criminal records.
if he is here rightfully, or at least has I94 (entered the country legally), just apply for reajustment I 485 . take about a year, depending what state. but he can get work permit sooner than that...
