Immigrant Wife Left the US and Hasn't Communicated.?
My wife, who is a Flip took a "vacation" with me back in August of this year. It seem like a harmless trip to go see the surrounded by laws and we took our daughter with us.
So I leave to return to college, and my wife and daughter be supposed to follow a week later. She then calls the light of day of her flight and tells me she will return in 6 months. Since then we hold been out of communication (against my will, I called every night until a week ago). She will not share me of future plans. We had been running into problems surrounded by the months leading up to the trip.
She is close to getting her 10 year green card. Is there any way to halt her from returning to the US. Can I use my sponsorship as verbs?
Answers:
NO you've blown it by marrying her. Now she's legal and the USCIS will not act to deport her. This should be a lesson to adjectives don't marry people who want immigrant status in the country you're from.
First you have a daughter you have to work things out.
Legally she only have to be in the USA for six months to retain her immigration status. Why would you want her deported? Marriage should not be about your not legal and I am.
Honestly if to be exact what the marriage was based on no wonder she doesn't want to come spinal column.
Well, if she's out over a year, she'll destroy her status on her own. However, you should at least inform USCIS of what's happened for the transcription.
I agree let this be a lesson to everyone else.
