Help please.... anyone... income requirement?
Hi I am applying for a UK Spouse Visa to join my husband in UK. I am American in USA. We be married nearly 5 years. I have a question about finances/employment and would appreciate answers from populace who have applied for this visa, or know alittle about it...
My husband started a new livelihood recently. He's only been within about 2 months. For proof, he will provide a letter from his Boss stating his start date, position, pay, profession is permanent, ect. Also, he will provide payslips for the work hes done so far. He started out working part time but not is full time and his salary have increased. Will the letter and a couple payslips suffice?
His salary is close to 1000 GB Pounds. I know this might be alittle low... but it increased from 800 GB before.
He pays for rent (500 montly), sea and electric (about 100 monthly together) and council tax (100 monthly). Nothing else really, he does not have cable or internet or home phone. Mobile only, which is payment as you go. No car, loans, nothing else.
I run it he might need more income in order to endorse the financial test as we are really close to the 105.95 weekly left over required. No savings any... :-(
Any help/suggestions or advice regarding my situation will be appreciated. I really need adjectives the right advice I can get. Someone said 800/monthly income is enough for the sponsor when applying for this visa, but it seem like such a low income right? Im confused whats the income requirement... and if my hubbys 1000 suffices??
Everything else in our application is strong.

Many times the decision is up to the human being conducting your interview. The fact that you have been married for 5 years should backing but obviously your income is borderline or maybe a little short. Maybe you could lurk a month or two and see if his income increases. Maybe you could bring up prior employment records that might show that his income potential is more. Anyway, good luck. As I see it it could go any way.
