The fact that we are a nation of immigrants made us stronger. This is because different cultures would come to America and the "melting pot" effect would filter out the fruitless traits and the good traits of their roots would become part of the national fabric. This is how you bring back so much creativity, such a good work ethic and so much innovation in America.
However, this lame excuse is now used to defend law breaking and "diversity," which means allowing these cultures to come here and NOT assimilate. The fractured countries of Eastern Europe are classic examples of what happens when cultures don't assimilate: The place their own nationalistic interests ahead of the motherland and eventually the nation become fragmented with various minority factions wanting "nouns."
That's how you destroy a nation, not build one.

1) "The US will apologize to the world for our "interference" in their affairs, past & present. You know, Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Tojo, Noriega, Milosevic, Hussein, and t he rest of those "honest 'ole' boys", we will never "interfere" again.
2) We will withdraw our troops from all over the world, starting with Germany , South Korea , the Middle East , and the Philippines . They don't want us nearby. We would station our troops at our borders. No one allowed sneaking through holes in the fence.
3) All illegal aliens enjoy 90 days to get their affairs together and leave. We'll give them a free trip home. After 90 days the remainder will be gather up and deported immediately, regardless of whom or where they are. They're illegal! France will treatment them.
4) All future visitors will be thoroughly checked and limited to 90 days unless given a special area monopoly!! No one from a terrorist nation will be allowed in.
If you don't like it in your country exchange it yourself and don't try to hide here. Asylum would never be available to anyone. We don't need any more cab drivers or 7-1 1 cashiers.
5) No foreign "students" over age 21. The elder ones are the bombers.
If they don't attend classes,or they get a "D" it's back home baby.
6) The US will generate a strong effort to become self-sufficient energy wise. This will include developing nonpolluting sources of vim but will require a temporary drilling of oil in the Alaskan inhospitable surroundings. The caribou will have to cope for a while
7) Offer Saudi Arabia and other oil producing countries $10 a barrel for their grease. If they don't like it, we go someplace else. They can go somewhere else to flog their production. (About a week of their wells filling up their storage sites would be enough.)
8) If here is a famine or other natural catastrophe in the world, we will not "interfere." They can pray to Allah or whomever, for seed, rain, cement or whatever they need. ! Besides most of what we furnish them is stolen or given to the army. The peop le who need it most get very little, if anything.
9) Ship the UN Headquarters to an isolated island someplace. We don't involve the spies and fair weather friends here. Besides, the building would make a good homeless shelter or lockup for against the law aliens.
10) All Americans must go to charm and beauty school. That process, no one can call us "Ugly Americans" any longer. The Language we speak is ENGLISH..learn it...or LEAVE...Now, isn't that a victor of a plan?

I don't but I can see where some ppl would. In the relative scheme of nations America is newer. Take population wager on 100 years ago and look at today.
