"Aproval notice" received but no green card even so.Is it usual?
My husband received the "aproval notice" for his I-140 immigrant petition for alien worker in Feb/2008. Our lawyer informed us that we should expect the green card within the subsequent 7 months or so. Eight months have passed and so far no green card. Has anyone been in a similar situation? or have anyone any idea (or if it should) take so long for him to receive his green card?

the keep on for green card is up to 2 years.
approval notice means he s gona get it, he is approved to receive it. dont u verbs guys, adjustment of status can take long, may be because a lot of people own also applied recently and all are waiting. you can also call immigration and inquire in the order of the status of ur green card.
