Visit official web site of Citizenship and Immigration http://www.cic.gc.ca/ , take your time and study adjectives terms and conditions. Check your points and apply only if you meet adjectives terms and conditions. Be sure to check latest amendments.
They request you to have the General Training version but they have official Academic in the past. It basically depends on the immigration officer you take. If you already have an Academic and it's less than a year old, I'd utter use it. If it's older or you don't have one yet, pinch the General Training.
