Should someone within infringement of immigration law be reported?
I need to re-phase my question. Should an non-usa citizen visiting on a B-2 Tourist Visa be reported if:
1. They have lied on there passport (wrong birthdate used)
2. Looking for employment (worked under the table and have sent resumes to companies)
3. enjoy stolen from someone
Answers:
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
Well, first off deliberatly providing knowlingly false information on a government application is a federal offense, and automatically nullifies the visa. That is adequate in and of itself. The consequence is immediate deportation, and an indefinite censure barring any adjectives entry.
Two, seeking employment without a work visa or work authorization is illegal, and carries equal penalties as those stated above.
Third, theft (grand or petty) is, by definition, a crime. And any person found guilty of commiting a crime while on a tourist visa is deported and disqualified from reentry. Though it differs from the other crimes in that it is not a federal offense (per se ... if he stole something from the government then it would be).
Of course. Sure entity
If the person commits a crime then yes they should be reported. If you are working below the table you are committing a crime in that you are stealing from the government. so again yes they should be reported. Now the birthday thing who care Yes! That person is obviously here to do more bad things ,not to better their lives close to others.
Not that it's okay to come here illegally.
Birthday... ok, okay how many people out there use deceitful IDs to buy alcohol or even other stuff? Report all the underage drinkers? Good luck.
How many 15, 16 year olds are out there working lower than the table? I knew a few going through high school, and how various of YOU actually did it, or knew it was going on.
Theft, other crimes of that humour, absolutely. I have a hard time near the topic, being that i have family member that are illegal. Its tough to be a supporter one way or another. However, I know that certain aspects of thier activities can hurt the economy of our country, but I just can't bring myself to say "Deport em'" when I see how frozen they work to provide for my cousins on the other side.
Doubt my comments helped... but I tried. :D
Yes, you should report that person of violations. Absolutely: Report and Deport
What was stolen ?
Call the cops
