Does Illegal Immigration relief or hurt the country?
Answers:
It hurts. Is this a serious question man? Listen up Ronald Regan said, a country that can't control its borders isn't really a country anymore. The Mexican border has and still is being devastated by the ravages and alarm of human smuggling, drug smuggling, kidnapping, murder and destruction of property. The trafficking in narcotics and people is a human rights outrage and a national disgrace. I guess these issues are above your skipper. It is a crime.
It is a very expensive crime.
We have a catholic Church heavily involved in totally breaking our law, and our Federal Law Enforcement Officals are hiding under their desks... allowing exactly that to happen.
It is hurting us a very great contract.
And the cost of the workers is the usual reason for using them. Less than the minimum wage.. but that drives all wages down. More than that, that means the unconstitutional aliens can apply for welfare and get it. The I.D.'s being produced by the Mexican Mafia and sold to the illegal aliens make all of that very, very possible.
I think it is corrupting America into a country where smugglers are taking profit of women. For four years, beginning in November 2001, women and girls from Central America were smuggled into the United States lower than the pretense of waitressing jobs, authorities said.
Instead, to pay off their transportation debt, as masses as 120 were forced to have sex with mannish patrons of bars and cantinas on the northwest side owned or operated by Mondragon, his brothers and others, according to court records. If this doesn't stop crooked immigration, I don't know what will?
it hurts the country and divides the country. one nation under God. a house divided cannot stand. when legal immigrants support the u.s. and the constitution instead of canon breaking illegal immigrants, then it won't be a house divided anymore. It doesn't, how masses times have you seen a white guy working in the field? and don't say that latinos are stealing jobs because my dad has a fruit farm and no white guy has come asking for a job....
This study is one of the first to estimate the total impact of unsanctioned immigration on the federal budget. Most previous studies have focused on the state and local level and have examined merely costs or tax payments, but not both. Based on Census Bureau data, this study finds that, when all taxes compensated (direct and indirect) and all costs are considered, illegal households created a net fiscal deficit at the federal height of more than $10 billion in 2002. We also estimate that, if there was an amnesty for unlawful aliens, the net fiscal deficit would grow to nearly $29 billion.
Among the findings:
Households headed by illegal aliens imposed more than $26.3 billion within costs on the federal government in 2002 and paid simply $16 billion in taxes, creating a net fiscal deficit of almost $10.4 billion, or $2,700 per illegal household.
Among the largest costs are Medicaid ($2.5 billion); treatment for the uninsured ($2.2 billion); food assistance programs such as food stamps, WIC, and free arts school lunches ($1.9 billion); the federal prison and court systems ($1.6 billion); and federal aid to schools ($1.4 billion).
With nearly two-thirds of illegal aliens lacking a lofty school degree, the primary reason they create a fiscal deficit is their low teaching levels and resulting low incomes and tax payments, not their legal status or big use of most social services.
On average, the costs that illegal households impose on federal coffers are less than partly that of other households, but their tax payments are only one-fourth that of other households.
Many of the costs associated with illegals are due to their American-born children, who are awarded U.S. citizenship at birth. Thus, greater pains at barring illegals from federal programs will not reduce costs because their citizen children can continue to access them.
If illegal aliens be given amnesty and began to pay taxes and use services like households head by legal immigrants with matching education levels, the estimated annual net fiscal deficit would increase from $2,700 per household to nearly $7,700, for a total lattice cost of $29 billion.
It hurts the economy of the victimized nation.
how the hell does it help? most of the money they clear they send back home. when they get sick they budge to emergency rooms and we pay the bill. It's hurts it.
