Can expire greencard plus approved I797 enter integrated states??
I came to china shanghai for visiting family and my greencard expired a week after I arrived but I be approved a new one so right now I have an expired greencard and a Approved I797 both reciept and notification I was wondering if I would be able to enter back into us beside those two things

Green card expired. You can go to the embassy to ask for renew. H1B I-797 approval is only an approval. You need to budge to embassy to have an interview in order to hold a visa to fly back.
Actually, I am pretty lost. If you have green card, how come you have H1B approval distinguish. You don't need to use H1B anymore once you have green card. Is it something wrong in this picture?
