Repeat medical for Canada Immigration?
Hello,
I am sponsoring my parents to immigrate to Canada from Europe. The process is almost completed and now they underwent their medical examinations. However, turns out that my Dad has coronary heart disease and desires to undergo more tests for Immigration.
Does that mean most expected a bad outcome for sponsorship?
Thanks!

I would believe so because he would become a burden upon the Universal Health Care system.
It could tight the difference between saving his life or not. CHF is nothing to mess around near, it may not be safe for him to travel if it isn't treated.
that depends on how bad the heart disease is.
If it is stable and just wishes keeping an eye on, then he will be fine.
but if the heart is badly damaged and he could hold a heart attack at any time then he may be denied.
I have a heart problem as well. I be ordered to have more tests, but CIC accepted me because my problem is not getting any worse. It lately needs to have a regular checkup. My doppler ultrasound cost me $200 (in 2001).
Either you or your parents will have to earnings for these tests as well. CIC will not. Source(s): PR in Canada.
