How knotty is it for a UK professor to grasp an employment green card to initiate contained by the USA?

I am almost a qualified primary school teacher and I am thinking of becoming a teacher within Florida. When looking at the green card information it says that they have to prove that no US worker can do that job at that time. To me this sounds virtually impossible. I be just wondering if any one else has gone through this process and can maybe hold out any advice.

Thank you :)

You probably need to be fluent within Spanish to teach in America since our Politicians refuse to allow us to own an Official National Language and we are required to enable all the illegal Spanish speaking public to not call for to learn English.
We have no shortage of teacher right now, particularly at the elementary school stratum. Advanced science & math teachers for high schools within some areas are a bit scarce. However, teachers are being laid off and wages cut because govts' budgets are surrounded by such terrible shape. Only 6 states are solvent, and Florida sure isn't one of them!

There are thousands of new & returning teachers next to masters degrees and student teaching completed (or prior experience) who are still looking for jobs for tip out. And there aren't any! My landlord's daughter has been jobhunting for 14 months in a minute & has applied for teaching positions in at least possible 6 - 8 states.

As for school teachers, public schools across the world cannot obtain employment visas for foreign workers. Cannot use taxpayer funds to pay for visas & all that rigamarole. Forget it.

BTW, instruction in US requires masters degree. A few states might still let teacher start with only a bachelors for a limited spell of time if enrolled in masters in background program.

If you were a legal permanent resident of the US and have the requisite education and credentials, then you could teach - if you could find any job in the current stinking job market. Also, near are some cultural exchange programs for experienced teachers (masters + at least 3 - 5 yrs experience last I checked). As an exchange trainer, you could teach for one semester or one school year on a special visa, depending on the sponsoring organization's programs.
I can't tell you how to do it, but I have children contained by school, and they have had numerous teacher from various countries. South Africa, the UK, Australia, New Zeland and on and on. I know they were hired by the school system itself, because I become friends with a couple of them. But as another poster said, right now our economy is surrounded by the crapper. School districts across the country are cutting teachers left and right. Maybe within a couple of yrs if we can pull ourselves up out of this recession a little, you may be successful.
Good luck
