It depends totally on your skills. Many jobs will get harder to find in the recession, but I would be surprised if we have a surplus of skilled medical staff, etc.
Well there is a recession like situation in UK right presently, I wont recommend it at present, better if u apply it in March 2009 checking the job market if its worth next.
