My brother sponsored us 4 years ago and we became eligible to immigrate to Canada.
Does it mean that we unable to return with welfare or pension first 10 years?
Answers:
If your brother added you to his own application somehow and you all came surrounded by at the same time, he is not responsible for you. If he was already in Canada and sponsored you to marry him, he is responsible for you for 10 years after you became PR. You can still take welfare but they will send the bill to your brother.
