i'm wondering about learning the political climate, economic conditions, taxation, living standards, etc. as compared to the U.S.

Do you guys find the US customs are more friendly than the Canada customs?
Not anything offensive,but sometimes I feel the Canada customs are so strict and give you doomed to failure attitudes compared to the US customs when you need ta pass the borders.What do you guys think?? The U.S. have every right to be strict. if you don't like it, please stay away....
