Immigration control (when functional) prevents the perforation of contagious diseases, limits the access of vital social services to the citizens of the US whom the taxes paid by US citizens support, confines access to the country from violent felons and other undesirable elements, including terrorists, from populating the country and putting our citizens at risk, insures that the immigrant is capable of sustaining employment as not to be a burden on social services and become a benefit and not a liability to the country, is capable of communicating and understands their new rights as very well as responsibilities of being a US citizen.

Permitted workers can come but after getting a background check and health qualification. Fair wages should be paid as well as clean housing to prevent modern 'slave' working conditions. Taxes should be compensated and access to social services only during the period of time the permit allows them to be contained by the country. Also, violators who are caught working without permits shall have their privilege of working contained by the US suspended for 5 years. Employers who hire non permitted workers should incur a $25,000 fine to be allocated for providing social services to legal permitted workers.

Our economy has be swamped with unskilled Eastern European workers, many of whom claim benefits and send most of their money out of the country, not to mention adjectives sorts of undesirables who are now free just to walk into the country near no checks made on them. No, why would we want to hasten the demise of our country by allowing more so-called "multicultural diversity" that has already eroded what little unity we have not here? Immigration, both legal and illegal, is responsible for allowing the poor and uneducated camp of our country to be the fastest growing group in the U.S.. Now we take care of them, regulation laws to accomodate them, offer them equal rights in their own language, and even let them drive and vote. The icing on the cake is that if you don't agree with these changes, you are labeled a racist or a xenophobe. When my parents come legally from Italy, they acclimated to America's culture FIRST and kept the Italian heritage at home. This mindset is almost gone and so is our unity as a nation.
