How can anyone support the amount of immigration surrounded by this country?
I feel like an alien in my own country. Almost every personality in my college is an immigrant. It feels so depressing. My culture is alien, and there are more Asians surrounded by my college than British people. Why don't the foolish political elite understand how it is to view your own nation being colonised at the behest of your own leaders? A mere fifty-eight percent of people in London are British, and within my town it's less than forty-five. Every fifth baby is born to an immigrant mother, and it feels as though adjectives our culture, all our customs and mannerisms and accents will soon be gone. I have a feeling like a second class citizen. Asians have community groups, and black people enjoy a variety of organisations to protect them, but what do we have? Nothing. We are the majority - in designation only, it sometimes seems - and so we have an inbuilt protection works. Why would we need our culture promoted? It can be thrown in the bin for all they exactness. All our history and culture, all that made us unique - and all that made us British - is eroding speedily, and in the name of multiculturalism and diversity, this erosion is promoted and getting more and more rapid. Enoch Powell be right. How can anyone fail to see this? And how can anyone support what is happening? It makes me perceive like crying.

Actually, it wa Enoch Powell who encouraged immigrant to come and fill the post war labour shortage on the Empire Windrush - and if you try and remember the history of that, these be people from the British Colonies - many of them had fought contained by the second world war for Britian - did you know that more people from the colonies died in the 2nd world time of war than people from Britain?
British culture is not a homogeneous entity - people pitting mulitculuralism over Britishness need to attain some history behind them -
It isn't the variety of ethnicities in Britain to blame if British white consistency they have no identity - why not get a community group or center together? Why not celebrate your own ethnicity too? Racism comes from insecurities close to yours, if you feel your culture is eroding, you should produce more and celebrate more of it, that's no one's fault - no immigrant stop you from practising your culture - if you feel like a second class citizen - then you necessitate to look at other statstics such as if there are so many immigrants, how come they are contained by lower wage paying jobs than white people?

as the world population grows this will get worse. the main reasons this seem to have a negative effect is people are chauvinistic. they feel threatened, everyone - whether they are immigrants or citizens of whichever country, they always grain their ways or views are better. take example when brits go out of the country they usually look for "british" food. when in spain do you look for fish and chips or do you open up and try something new? this works one and the same with political views or even religious ones.
