A citizen not born within America and lost my pssword and alien ID number- What should I do?
Answers:
Go to your nearest Embassy or Consulate and apply to replace your lost passport. You may need to make a police report to show that you have reported it missing - and also bring some other proof of your identity - a social shelter card, birth certificate, driving licence, etc. :-)
Try to get as much documentation as possible and take it to the Social Security Office who will within turn ask certain questions for verication. After they are satisfied next to your answers then they may possibly issue you a copy of your number or refer you to IRS if you happened to file taxes using that number..... You could bring duplicate information from the embassy of your native country.
MY girlfriend from the Phillipines had to do that, when an employer spitefully kept her passport when she quit her job as their housekeeper.
She's married very soon, and last I talked to her she was struggling more than a year to find a new passport from the Phillipine embassy, through an immigration lawyer, along with put a bet on wages they cheated her of.
