Best bet would be to wall (Great wall of China in size and architectural design) up the southern border, and enjoy one access point in each state bordering Mexico.
Otherwise there is still too much incentive for the Mexican government to induce their citizens to come here "illegally" as usual and send our tax dollars to Mexico instead of using them here...not to mention taking out more and more lofty risk loans and defaulting, which we all see the result of today in the housing market and the bank systems. Our stolen tax dollars are a major source of their National Gross Income. And their unwillingness to work with tenet enforcement while in the states for fear of deportation, which they entirely brought upon themselves leads to more and more criminal buzz and damages the societies we live in.
But lo and behold...now we have the Liberal Presidente within office...hope for the best for the country's sake, but prepare for the worst.
We're in for a long haul and a sturdy fight against these corrupt and extremist politicians voted in by highly innocent citizens.

No more immigration period & that routine anyone of any nationality, until & unless they get the immigration mess we already have cleaned up. It can be done if they will follow the rules & law we already have on the books.

If they are staying once they cross that border then they need to come by citizenship. If they are just visiting they need to own proper documentation (just as we do when we go there) and they need to follow our rules while they are here.
If we want zero problems, we need to seal the border and deploy the Marines along our southern border. In force.
The problem is that it is ridiculously easy to come illegally and ridiculously difficult to come legally.
We inevitability to flip this around. One would have to be a glutton for punishment to attempt legal entry.
