Has anyone be denied entry into the USA by immigrations after anyone issued next to a Visa from the UK?

I will be applying for a Visa as I had a caution a few years ago due to possesion of a drug.I have be told that if you have a Visa it does not guarantee you entry into the USA. I was just wondering if this have happened to anyone else? If not, do you think I will get into the USA near a Visa as I was only cautioned and I enjoy nothing else on my record. Thanks in credit!

Mere possession of a visa does not guarantee admission. What you were told is true.

If the visa officers at the embassy hold advised you to apply for a waiver of a ground of inadmissibility prior to the issuance of the visa, and the waiver has been approved, afterwards that particular ground of inadmissibility cannot be used against you.

Of course, there are still 3 dozen more grounds of inadmissibility that could apply to you. If one or more does apply, then you could be refuse.

If you do not need a waiver in order to purchase a visa, the issuance of the visa will be a good indication that, at least on the surface, you appear to be admissible.
I would think your probability are very good at gaining entry. You be only issued a caution.

Please try. Best of luck.

Nothing is a guarantee though, so I am sure there hold been some denials in there.
