I be born surrounded by israel to an english mother , and since i turned 18 im a british citizen what does it craft me?
Answers:
A dual British-Israeli citizen maybe? :-) british jewish
Pretty normal, in Israel, I would say. However, what are you really asking? Are you also an Israeli citizen? ulai, Probably so, assuming your father is an Israeli citizen. Are you Jewish? A different query as you probably know as well, if not better, than anyone here. Under the Halacha, if your mother isn't Jewish.... , unless you decided to properly convert, of course. If you're Israeli, and living in Israel, soon you will be in the IDF, whether you are also properly Jewish, or not. If you're not in Israel, but you go back to Israel, indistinguishable thing applies. Your dual citizenship will not preclude you from military service, neither will your non-Jewish status. The army doesn't care if you're Jewish under the tenet. Hello,
(ANS) It entirely depends upon how you yourself feel about this in my view. I think sometimes we get VERY hung up on technical definition of this and that.
**Purely from a technical view point having an English Mother and in a minute becoming a full blown English Citizen would probably make you more English than Israeli.
**English Jewish?? (you may not be Jewish even for all I know?).
**Frankly its were your heart sings most, do you touch closer to Israel because that's where you were born or English because of your mother and now your citizenship?
THIS IS ABOUT your self logo, its about your sense of self identity as a person and its a VERY personal matter thoughtful down. Ask yourself where you feel your true home is? where does your heart live most of adjectives?
**The struggle for self identity is a common one amongst Jewish people, I myself come from Russian Polish ancestry (I'm second generation English) but I still to this afternoon DON'T feel British or English but nor do I feel my true home is in Eastern Europe any. I think my own sense of confusion is very common amongst relatives of my age or amongst second generation people.
Shalom to you, from Ivan.
English and jewish ONLY if your mother is a practising jewess.
Although jewish is a religion NOT a nationality
But you might be israeli because you be born in israel.
you were born in israel so you are an israli
you are not british unless you are born here.

1. mothers nationality
2. father nationality
3. country of birth
4. country you grew up in
ethnicity and nationality are different.
