The American citizens want immigration laws enforced.
However, the American politicians DO NOT want immigration laws enforced because it would grounds "bad publicity" and outcries of racism from the pro-illegal immigration national groups, in addition to cause bad foreign relations with many Central American nation.
This is just one of many examples of American politicians ignoring the voice of those who elected them contained by order to preserve their political future.
So long as immigration has been unjust, there has been predominant illegal immigration. This is a huge country; keeping people out by force just plain doesn't work. Because 100% of your goivernment snub to do anything to upset Big Business.
Big Business want to keep making huge profits so they lobby your government to NOT deport the cheap labour.

Where I work there are people who have worke at hand 2 or 3 times with diffrent names and sscards and they know it and nothing is done the solely thing you hear is if you don`t like it then hit the door.I am the simply production out of 19 that is an American and I am the lowest paid worker there. When insurance and adjectives form of federal taxes come out of my check it`s between $40.00 to$90.00 less than an illegal that works out between 2,000 dollars less a year.

The politicians don't want to slight them. One solution would be to give big fines and jail time to the executives of companies who hire the illegal felon.The illegals would then go to another country. It would be easy to bring back rid of these vermin - we don't have to physically round up every last one. We can in recent times deny them the right to drive, to medical care, food, shelter, jobs, etc.
They would get their smelly hide home in no time.
Because the 78% of citizens (me and you) are not the small businesses, multinational corporations (like McDonalds and Burger King) and agricultural industry who are using them as cheap labor. America is a capitalist nation and that's what is being done. Capitalizing on cheap labor. It's how this country has become so wealthy over it's relatively short time contained by history. The Illegal immigrant work force is America's 21st century version of a slave economy. To deport illegals is counterproductive economically to American businesses who don't have to income higher wages to American citizens.
Enforcement costs money and the politicians do want to spendmoney on anything except for projects that would smudge their own pockets. Because the polititians don't want the illegals gone. If they did, the problem would be solved by now.
Because the goverment knows to if you want to hang on to the prices to the food down, you have to hire illegals.
