We're around to loose 500,000 job surrounded by the UK, do we necessitate immigrant?

this is based purely on economics.

Yes there are far too many immigrants and it is getting beyond a kid. To those of you that say people dont look for work, I agree that some people don't look for work but the infinite majority of the unemployed do look for work. My husband is a skilled joiner and lost his job a couple of months ago. He looks for work everyday but there is nought out there for his skills. The only work he can find is agency work on basic wage. By the time we own paid out rent and council tax he is honestly better off claiming benefits. Yes he could work for zilch but when he spent many years earning his qualification then why the hell should he.

I suppose immigrant are good for taking the jobs that us brits wont take because we deserve more than lb5 an hour after paying taxes adjectives our working lives. But thats as far as it goes.

You're talking about legal ones right? Then yes unsurprisingly we still need them, as you heard today, loads of jobs are going to step in the City, do you really expect those rich workers are going to revert to being traffic wardens or sweeping the streets? Thought not.

EDIT: there's loads of work for the indigenous population, it's lately that lots of them don't go out and find it. Yes of course it will cause resentment, but just among the determined teeth-gnashers. Tell me, do immigrants actively affect your life in any agency?

EDIT: But that's the whole irony of it, pinball. You complain about immigrants over here...later you go and inflict yourself as an immigrant on someone else's country! People are meant to move around the globe, at hand are no borders apart from political ones. People have as much right to come to this country as you have to go and find a hot life somewhere else. Are you saing we should kick out people resembling Kelly Holmes or Rolf Harris, just because they're an immigrant or have immigrant backgrounds?
No we do not! I expect those city bankers previously at Lehman will be cleaning public toilets come Friday.

You simply depend on immigrant labour if you travel, use the NHS or eat. I expect you and Pin have transcended these corporeal tasks and entered a previously undiscovered realm of pompous indignation. You're great!
The Country is over populated as it is and the outlook on the economy is looking very bleak and nothing much is going to shift for the foreseeable future. I see two problems; one where it is made all too trouble-free for the bone idol to choose to live off hard working tax payers and those who are losing job due to the economy and are desperate for work but will be under greater pressure due to the new rules but who will thought for them? The people of this Country are very tolerant, maybe too tolerant but taken for granted and simply ignored. The winds are changing and those who own kept this Country going and have made it what it is or was are now becoming the unwelcome stranger contained by their own homes and so to answer your question, no we don't. Those that can are leaving and I don't blame them, as I no longer feel response either and if it wasn't for my remote Island that I can escape too, I too would seek solace elsewhere... but maybe that's adjectives part of the plan... I remember someone telling me along time ago that this Country would become another's... It seems he be right......
for once i agree with pinball ... ;-) i wanna travel and be a immigrant some place else ..sick of mud island!
This country is FULL. Immigrant Hotel should be closed. This Government can't look after the people who are here without bringing even more within.Cheap labour is not the answer. They should double the minimum wage to encourage people to work and consequently they wouldn't need to claim all the extra benefits because their wages would be higher.
the EU says that if anyone wants to come here to work afterwards they can have our jobs. we have no right to expect first leeway on a job. just because you were born here, compensated into the system all your life does not give you the right to expect nouns over any tom dick or johann .our jobs are theirs. and before you all afford me thumbs down , can you first cut me down from the rope that ive just hung myself on please? im so sick of the EU that that rope is starting to look interesting. im sick of immigrants. we cant move , we cant do anything without them taking priority. im moving out. im going to be an immigrant else where on earth
Yes because the jobs which are man lost still do not account for the jobs which people are not likely to do. While there are still shortages, people will still call upon immigrant.
Well, lots of populace think that way here about immigrant getting our jobs in Canada. To say the lowest possible...people here aren't willing to do the dirty jobs (that usually earnings well) compared to immigrants (legal ones) who want to integrate into your country&way of life. However, more strict immigration rules are needed within the UK.
What do you say?
Absolutely NOT! There are millions of people now that are in entail of jobs, and they're LEGAL!!
