I hold question roughly US Citizenship?
1.I want to apply for Citizenship but I need to know how long it will take for the US to respond to my application? i know once you get a response you must live within the US for 5 years.
2.I didn't complete grade 11 and 12 here in Australia but finished grade 10. Will this basis problems if I want citizenship? I'm qualified for Security work & have my Certificates, I'm able to do work from bouncers to cash contained by transit (armed security), prison security and a few more Security type jobs.
3.My grandfather is an Native American who served in the US Army surrounded by World War 2 & The Korean war, I also have family within Ohio that I have never met before & was wondering if they may know how to support me or anything like that?
4.Do legal residents (not citizens yet) have 2nd Amendment rights? I would at least possible like to own a handgun then upgrade once I'm a citizen.
5.Once you have lived as a officially recognized resident for 5 years how long will it take until I take the oath?
Thank you :)

Congratulations Stuart you've a fiancee presently:-)
This is what I know for sure about getting hold of citizenship in the US... The requirements change often and it depends on which country you are applying from. You inevitability to go to the US consulate and get an application and ask lots of questions. It can be costly and within is no set rule as far as a time frame for response. It all depends on the office you are filing from. If money is no doubt get yourself an immigration lawyer. Good luck!

You probably want to pop in the USCIS site and do some research. I would think that, to claim citizenship through heritage, one of your parents would have had to be a USC - not merely your grandfather. If you are a minor it's most likely they will have to petition on your behalf. I doubt the family contained by Ohio are going to be willing to jump through the hoops to sponsor you in any means of access, especially if they've never met you - sponsorship for this kind of thing requires that they provide sensitive financial information such as tax transcripts, W-2's, parcels of employment, sometimes disclosures of assets, etc.
Do you actually seriously want to move to the States, or do you just want the citizenship so that you have the resort? (since dual citizenship is allowed between Australia and the US). Australia is in a better economical state at the moment, jobs are easier to find here, and some parts of the country are actually moderately well insulated against the recession (Canberra, for example). If it's just an option for you, I would keep on until things are looking a little better over there.
well...I will marry you...that should take care of adjectives of the issues listed above...I love Australians...ok...so I love anyone with an accent ha ha
just pick a visa that will suit you ...

Resolved Questions:
If the parents are unjust aliens and one deported, should they be forced to run their children beside them?
We are always hearing how it splits up families, should they be made to steal their children with them? Would this not end their families man split up? Why do illegals abandon their children here when deported? Why do illegals not come...
